Mother’s Nightclub

Former Location –
Some people consider this to be the first ever psychedelic nightclub. The Lovin’ Spoonful played here in their prime as well as The Grateful Dead and Great Society with Grace Slick.

Although Mother’s enjoyed only a brief run before closing its doors in the late 1960s, its influence was far-reaching. It helped establish San Francisco as a destination for psychedelic rock.
