Another SF location that has seen many incarnations, the North Beach Revival had its share of Rock greats on their stage such as Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show, and Little Feat.

Voss Baretta owned the nightclub Off Broadway on Kearny. Yvonne D’Anger, his gorgeous stripper wife did topless. After 9:00 it switched to North Beach Revival, dreamt up by Michael Hoban and Bill Morgan who owned North Beach Leather. (Bill drove a Morgan). They wanted a place where people could go and dress up, a retro sophisticated club with music and dancing.
I did their menus and invitations, then worked there as a waitress. Lot of well-known musicians played and hung out there.
