Former location –
Although it was open, on and off, for less than three years, and fully operational for less than a year, it played host to a pretty amazing roster of talent, including Pink Floyd, Captain Beefheart, Sly & the Family Stone, and many others. The location was originally opened as “Bermuda Palms” and then “Euphoria” before becoming “Pepperland” in 1970.
Closing for good in January, 1972, it is currently a Motel 6.

Did The Steve Miller band ever play there?
If I remember right..Steve Miller did play there and John Lee Hooker opened the show..Steve actually came out and played harmonica with Hooker…
Zappa and the Mothers were listed as the main act on the night Tim Buckley played, at least according to a reprint of a concert poster I bought last week.
Does anyone know the origins of the four Horn of Plenty speakers used at the 10/17/70 Pink Floyd concert??
