Went to a Jefferson airplane concert here and somebody handed me a joint with DMT in it and I was lit up for hours and had to get help to get home.
But it was not so bad in those days.People understood.
Enjoyed an amazing Quicksilver Messenger Service and it lives with me forever. Times change but Family Dog was a true treasure until buried.
I remember seeing QMS there, Dino had joined the band at that point and they had a horn section join them (just for the night?). When they played the then current big hit, “Fresh Air”, the baritone sax was out of tune every time… it was painful…
I remember seeing the Grateful Dead and The New Riders of the Purple Sage there in the fall of 1969.
Great concerts!
